The tempter is the enemy, the one who is been tempted is we believers and the judge of every temptation is the Lord who count us approved… Because every man will be tempted by his own Lust but at every stage of temptation there is always a blessing in waiting especially for believers… let us see the time of temptation as a time to prove our love for the Lord because the Lord is waiting to see if we will do his will or follow the desire of our flesh… for every time a great blessing is coming, there is always a temptation or test to prove if we are worthy of that blessing or not… so let’s stand strong in faith to pass our test, worthy to be approved of his reward in waiting… temptation in a believers life is liken to a student writing a test or any exam to gain a promotion to another level… brethren without a test of our faith, there is no promotion, Abraham passed through it even our Lord too because for every stages of elevation in life, there is a temptation and for every time we are been tempted, there is a blessing coming our way… this temptation can come in any way… that’s why the Lord told us to pray always… seeking to pray in the Holy Ghost all the time and been sensitive in the Spirit to discern rightly. Temptations always come through our lustfulness because there is no man without a lust as far as we are still in the flesh even if we are in the flesh we are of the Spirit our ways must not go in the way of the flesh or of this world but in the ways of the Spirit of God because since the day we have genuinely given our life to Christ our Spirit has been quicken and alive in the Spirit of GOD… sometimes it looks so natural but it always come with a spiritual implication… for example the Holy Spirit woke you up to pray or to start praising God at night then your flesh is telling you to sleep a little because you’re weak but the more you hearken to the voice and the leading of the Spirit, the more we come alive in Spirit to the glory of the Lord… Fellow brethren; please watch, be sensitive and pray always.

How prepared are you to be part of this great kingdom? Colossians 1:10-11 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

God is not just interested in our personal growth spiritually but He is so concerned about our collective growth as the body of Christ. So today we will be praying for the body of Christ, this chapter of Colossians 1 talks about Paul’s letter to the church at Colosse, the Apostles keep writing to different churches based on the news heard about them. Either the news we hear about the Church is good or bad, the first thing we are expected to do as a part of the body is to PRAY.

-Lord we thank you for your church all over the world, we bless you our head, thank you Lord because we have this confidence that you will build your church and the gates of hell will never prevail over us in Jesus name.

-Lord we receive grace and peace from God our Father and Father of our Lord Jesus for your church today in Jesus name.

-Lord we pray that you fill our hearts with your love, that as Christ loves the church we will love one another, we come against strife , envy, hatred, and all the vices of the enemy that wants to keep tearing us apart in the name of Jesus.

-Lord we pray that you fill your church with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, we will walk in your will even in this season in the name of Jesus.

-We pray today that your church will walk worthy of you Lord unto all pleasing, your church will be fruitful in every good works and we will continually increase in the knowledge of God in Jesus name.

-Lord as your church and body we draw strength from your glorious power today to birth in us patience, longsuffering and joyfulness in Jesus name.

🔥THE LORD WILL NOT FORSAKE YOU

“But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me”…
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee”…
“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me”…KJV(Isaiah 49v14-16)

The bond between a nursing mother and a sucking child is very great but even with this bond, it is still possible for the mother to forget her sucking child…because no matter the love of the mother for the child, there are still some conditions that is beyond human control.. a natural man do sleep and slumber, when sleeping a man will loose consciousness of his environment and likewise other natural occurrence that can prompt a mother to forget her sucking child but the Lord we serve never sleep nor slumber because only him can watch over us in all things…the Lord is saying to us today that nothing can ever make him to forget us, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ… He knows what we all are passing through, as believers let us remember that the Lord is with us in that situation because we are the carrier of his Spirit that means in that persecution or in the midst of that storm we are not alone, the Lord is with us… that’s why the Holy Spirit is our comforter.. our name is written on the palm of his hands, he will help us through it because everything is for a purpose which is to make us a better person and take us to our promise land… all what Joseph passed through even at the prison, the Lord was with him all through, which was actually a making in process to make him a prime minister… I see someone in the making to a greater height because the Lord is taking you somewhere, he has not forgotten you and you will surely get there all to his glory.

📣To apply the word of GOD in today’s verse to our day to day life…Firstly we need to give our life to Jesus by accepting him as our Lord and savior.. By surrendering our life totally to him in brokenness that only him can save us,… Only then can we receive his Lordship upon our lives to shield and protect us from this evil world because he will never forsake any of his own…Beloved, you need to bear in mind by coming to the consciousness that no matter the situation we might ever find ourselves…that Jesus is in it with us, we should keep confessing his word that the Lord said…I am graven upon the palm of his hand, the Lord will not forget me nor forsake me… Jesus I believe your words upon my life because I know you’re with me through your Holy Spirit… I know you will help me through it to bring me to a glorious ending all to your glory.
